The weather in Paris played games all week and I was tricked into abandoning my trusty winter coat at home one morning, only to be met with a biting wind the moment I stepped outside. Our elevator was out of order so I decided not to turn back but walked faster than usual to brush off the chill. Having learned my lesson I wrapped up warmly the next day to drink an afternoon coffee on the terrace at Treize au Jardin, only to be rewarded for my precaution with a light sunburn.
