In a stroke of luck this week not one but two friends I haven’t seen in forever announced they were in Paris and I felt like quite the social butterfly out past 8pm two nights in a row, relishing the freedom that comes with skipping toddler meal time. It was so cheering to catch up as if no time had passed and compare where we’re all at in the washing machine of life, made even better by the fact that they booked the restaurant so the pressure was off me to make a good choice.
