As I’d feared, Fake Spring was short-lived and Second Winter arrived with a smattering of ice and plunging temperatures. I’d enthusiastically washed and packed away most of the children’s winter gear so had to dig it all out again for the snow flurries we’ve had. But I am hopeful that Real Spring™ is around the corner and so far the cherry blossoms seem to have survived the hailstones rather well and continue to brighten up the city.
