I adore the last week of August in Paris. Most businesses have slowly opened back up but the streets are empty so you can get a reservation almost anywhere last minute and visit all the places that are usually too busy to bother with. I stopped in to eat at Café de Flore, Le Village Royale, Café Charlot, Rue de Buci and even managed some shopping at Merci, Rue Saint Honore, Rue des Francs Bourgeois and Boulevard Saint Germain, revelling in the wide open footpaths and empty boutiques. It’s also the time to map out plans and get projects in order for the rest of the year and I’m so excited to tell you about my next chapter, a children’s book which will available for pre-order in early October. More info coming soon!
