Even in the greyest days of late January there’s always colour to be found at the local market. Bunches of anemones, ranunculus and mimosa (3 of my favourite flowers) beg to be brought home, where they tickle my husband’s nose and sit alongside narcissus plants in the new pots I bought recently, which look great on the mantlepiece.
