Well we’re officially on the downward slide to the end of the year, when time speeds up and everything feels like a rush. I love autumn but sometimes the pressure to do all the seasonal things feels a little much so I’m trying to be more conscious of what I want to do vs what I feel pressured to do because it’s all over social media (PSL I’m looking at you). There are so many gorgeous foods, warming drinks and cozy activities on offer that I’ve made a priority list which includes baking apple pie, mulling hot cider, simmering pumpkin soup, taking the kids to roll in the leaves, using the ‘good’ candles I always forget about, carving jack-o-lanterns, whipping up meringue ghosts and dressing the dog up for halloween, which should keep me busy until it’s time for Christmas decorations.
