Monday kicked off with une fête pour Noël at the Australian Embassy where I warmed myself by the fire with the best view in town, admiring the Eiffel Tower from Aussie turf while discussing Christmas plans with everyone. There were homemade mince pies and endless bottles of bubbles and the staff had to shoo everyone out at the end of the night, to continue the party elsewhere, a sure sign of a good time.
